筆者はTaipei Hiker Clubの山仲間とで今年4月に福島県二本松市を訪れ安達太良山を登った。その際には、市政府の援助も得て地元観光も行い、雪の残る山だけでなくちょうど満開な桜やほかの花々が咲く、春を迎えた山のふもとを楽しんだ。今回は、その二本松市が企画した市民の山登りを含む台湾訪問事業で、17名の市民と付添いの市役所や旅行社のメンバー日本側都合20名と、中華民国山岳協会からの3名を含む我々台湾側14名(他に台湾の通訳ガイド)との合計35名で七星山を登った。

前日終日雨だった七星山は、朝は霧が残っていたものの、次第に天気が回復した。冷水坑から山を越えて小油坑へ約4時間ほどかけて山を越えた。日台双方が入り交じり一緒に山を登り、小油坑へ降りるころには、すっかり知己となり別れを惜しんだ。ともに山道で苦労し、また食べ物を分け合うなど、こうした日台交流活動は民間の国際友好に寄与できたと思う。七星山登山自体は、いままで当ブログ(例えばこのような記事)で何度も触れているので、登山の詳細記録はあえて記さず、活動中の写真やビデオなどでその活動を伝えることにします。

東側の冷水坑から西側の小油坑へ

今年四月筆者與Taipei Hiker Club的山友去福島縣二本松市攀登安達太郎山。當時在市政府幫助下做了市內觀光，不但爬了還留著很厚雪地的山峰，而且遊玩剛巧盛開的櫻花和其他花卉的春季山麓。此次該市府兩位觀光課人員和旅行社嚮導以正式活動帶領17位市民日方共20名訪台，我方則包含中華民國山岳協會的三位在內之共14名(另一位台灣本地的翻譯導遊)，總共35名去爬七星山。

前一日整天下雨，當日早上濃霧還瀰漫，但天氣漸漸轉好。我們從冷水坑起步，費時大約四小時翻越山峰下去冷水坑為止。台日雙方山友都混成一個隊伍爬山，等到走完時彼此很熟悉。在離別時大家覺得捨不得分開。一起辛勞走山徑，也分享食物等，相信如此的台日交流活動促進民間的國際友好關係。至於登山活動本身的紀錄，筆者在過去的部落格文章裡提過好幾次例如這篇，所以只以貼上相片和影片來報告此項活動。

Friends of Taipei Hiker Club and and the author visited Nihonmatsu city of Fukushima and climbed Mt. Adatara-san in April this year. With a help of the municipality we not only climbed the snow covered peak, but also enjoyed a nice tour around the foot of the mountain where cherries and other flowers were timely in full bloom. In return the municipality conducted a tour for its citizens to come and hike in Taiwan. For this activity 17 citizens and two city officials plus a local travel guide counted 20 from Japan while the Taiwan side consisted of 14 of us including three members of Taiwan Alpine Association (plus a Taiwan travel guide). The total 35 members climbed Mt. Qixing-shan.

Despite a whole-day rain on the day before the activity, the weather gradually turned good after morning mist. We started from Lengshuikeng, went over the peaks and down to Xiaoyoukeng, spending approximately four hours. Members of the both countries were combined and formed one big troop to hike. By the time we were down at Xiaoyoukeng, the members were well acquainted each other, so they all felt sad when parting. We shared hardship and food as well during the hike. I believe that through this activity our friendship between the two countries has been enhanced.
